The Troubles of Man
Hello my dear friend, have you ever traced the genesis of all troubles in this life?
It stems from what shall we eat ? What shall we drink ? and what shall we put on? These three questions constitute the tripod upon which the entire troubles of man stand.
Take a cursory look around you and see. They are the causes of all vices and deliberate disobedience to God’s statutes and commandments. The robbers kill, steal and destroy in order to obtain money for what to eat , drink and wear. The ritual killers, kidnappers, unknown gunmen, hired assassins, prostitutes, pen robbers, yahoo boys and fraudsters, all engage in their respective vices and misdemeanors just because of what to eat, drink and put on. Today, nations are at war with one another over what to eat.
They have devised weapons of mass destruction just to be sure of what their citizens will eat and drink.; survival is the grand picture. In the gospel according to Matthew chapter 6: 25 -30. Our Lord Jesus Christ told us to take no thought about life, what we shall eat, what we shall drink nor the body what we shall put on. Reason: life he said, is more than meat and the body more than raiment. But despite all man’ s lies materialistic orgies, man has never solved all his problems. We struggle from cradle to grave, throughout a lifetime but without the finger of God, our efforts remain futile. In Matt.6; 33. God has assured us that in the world there will be tribulations, trials and temptations. But in Christ, we shall have peace. But not as the world gives , does he give . But abundant peace and joy. Psalm is 147: 5, says that God is great and of great power : his understanding is infinite. He enjoins us to lift our eyes away from these worldly cares and focus our attention on Jesus Christ ,the author and finisher of our faith. God takes pleasure in those that fear him and in those that hope in his mercy. In the book of Romans chapter8: 32, the scripture says that God who did not spare his Only begotten son Jesus Christ but delivered him up to us all , how shall he not with him also freely give us all things. Moreover, in Jesus Christ, our needs are met. When we struggle to gain the whole world, we run into troubles. But when we put our trust in him, the holy spirit teaches us all things. Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
