Banking, Fintech, Other Stakeholders converge at Financial Inclusion Roundtable

All is now set for the leading lights in banking, Fintech, Telecoms, insurance and the media to meet at the Nigeria Fintech and Financial Inclusion Roundtable slated for April 26,2024 at Radisson Hotel
GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.

The confab titled : The Role of Fintech and financial inclusion in Citizens Empowerment and Economic Growth, will be chaired by Dr Umaru Kwairanga, Group Chairman, Nigeria Exchange Group, said Prince Cookey, the convener.

Dr Apochi Agada,Group Managing Director, Unified Payment Services limited, he said , will give the key note address.

Also expected as speakers are Mrs. Adekunbi Ademiluyi, Managing Director, Human Manager Limited; Dr Stanley Jacob, Vice President, Fintech Association of Nigeria and Dr Bode Oguntoke Group Head of Audit, FBN Holdings Plc.

The objectives and expectations of the conference ,as listed by Cookey who is also Publisher and Editor in Chief Business Journal; include evaluation of the Fintech in Nigeria’s financial system in the past 10 years.

Other objectives include: analysing the marriage and dichotomy between banks and Fintech ; and explore the convergence of banking, Telecoms and insurance in terms of financial inclusion.

The confab will also evaluate the challenges of Fintech and financial inclusion in Nigeria and projecting the future of the two financial concepts in the years ahead.

The event is primed to be a unique convergence of top executives and stakeholder groups from banking, Fintech and Insurance, media community and the general public, said Cookey.

The attendance of the conference, Cookey emphasized, is free to interested professionals in the banking, Fintech, capital market and insurance space, media as well as the general public.
