Eminent Personalities, Church Leaders converge to Enthrone Apostle Samuel Chukwunenye Nwaire as General Overseer, CLGA

Eminent personalities and Church Leaders, witnessed the consecration and installation of the Chairman and Chief Executive Imo State, Electricity Regulatory Commission, Apostle Samuel Chukwunenye Nwaire as the General Overseer of Christian Life Gospel Assembly in Nigeria.

The Imo State Governor , his Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, attended through a representative , Dr. Chidi Patrick Uzoma, the Imo State liaison officer in Lagos State, while the Honourable Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly Rt. Honourable Chike Olemgbe, sent a good will message, saying that the call of God is the highest recognition . He prayed the Lord to keep, honour, and give grace to Apostle Nwaire as he takes up the assignment of General Overseership.
The Labour leader and President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Joe Ajero also witnessed the occasion.

The ordination which was a gathering of saints also attracted many Bishops, Apostles, pastors and evangelists including Mr. Ayo Badejo , District Coordinator, (D.C.) South west 6 District and Barrister Okey Mbah, National Director of Full Businessmen’s Fellowship and generality of the clergy in the country.
Also many captains of industries, Managing Directors/Chief Executives, and Technocrats, including Hon. Engr.Jonathan Lawani, Chief Technical officer, Benin Electricity Distribution Company graced the occasion. While his Royal Highnesses , sent goodwill messages. His Royal Highness, Eze Innocent.U.Onuoha, the Ikpe 1 of Ikpenweafor Autonomous Community, Ihitte-Uboma, Imo State who was the father of the day prayed that God will strengthen,guide and guard Apostle Nwaire in his episcopacy as he continues to tend the flock Jesus Christ entrusted to his care.
Similarly, his Royal Highness Eze Romanus A.O . Uwanawanti , the Odumba Ezechimere, of Uzinomi, Kingdom, the good Lord who elevated him to this service will strengthen and divinely protect him as he propagates the gospel of Christ.

The Father of the Ministry who Bishop Abraham James ministered the word.
Speaking to the audience on the need for the ministry to move forward after the demise of late Rev.Isaac Chibuike Ugboaja, the Founder Christian Life Gospel Assembly,
Bishop Abraham James , said that God’s will prevails always, despite what we as humans think and desire to happen.
He said that the demise of the founder was such that many thought shouldn’t have happened at the time and given that was in God’s service. But he argued that even when our Lord Jesus Christ prayed until the droplets of sweat from his body was likened to blood ,yet God looked away from Jesus till he was crucified, stressing that nobody can question God. He told the members that it was God’s will that Isaac Ugboaja should come home to rest and it is now time for the Ministry to move forward under Apostle Sam Nwaire.
Citing the book of Joshua chapter 1.1- 5 he said that “Moses, my servant is dead” It was God that made the announcement and urged Joshua the Son of Nun to be prepared to take the Israelites across the promised land which God swore to give to their forefathers.
In like manner, he urged Apostle Sam Nwaire, to prepare ,like Joshua, to lead the Assembly, stressing that the promises which God made to Joshua will also be available to him. He said that the ministry under Apostle Nwaire will never go down.
Furthering, he cited book of Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 3 he said the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry,” enthusing that Apostle Sam Nwaire is divinely primed to take the Assembly to the next level.
He also cited
Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him,” he urged Apostle Nwaire to be a father , burden bearer , mentor and guidian to the congregation of Christian Life Gospel Assembly.
While Bishop James told the Assembly not to dwell in the past, he advised them to be loyal to their new G.O. for the realisation of the vision of the Assembly.

He, however, warned those who may wish to gang up against the G.O to learn from what happened to Miriam Moses’ sister and Korah and his men who mutinied against Moses in numbers Chapter 16.
He prayed that God should grant Apostle Nwaire in-depth knowledge, wisdom, insight, obedience to the word of God and greater understanding of leadership. He prayed for capacity to excel, and exceed every benchmark, and spiritual insensitivity in his episcopacy .
In his response after the enthronement, Apostle Nwaire expressed his gratitude to God for giving him the opportunity and keeping him alive to realise the dream. Specifically, after thanking the presiding prelate Apostle Enyinnaya Okwuonu, PhD, he said he can only declare blessings upon all those in attendance the program.
Another highlight of the occasion was the ordination of Apostle Nwaire’s wife, Mrs. Cecilia Onyemazuwa Nwaire as a pastor by the presiding prelate Apostle Enyinnaya Emeka Okwuonu.

Apostle Nwaire’s first by assignment after his enthronement was to ordain, elders deacons and evangelists of the Assembly.
After his university education and he had a distinguished career National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) in energy distribution and Marketing which saw him rising through the positions of Marketing Manager, 1996, District Manager,2005, Assistant General Manager – market Settlements and regulatory services (2005) , General Manager – Energy Market Settlements, Transmission (2012-2014) and Chief Operating Officer – Eko Electricity Distribution Company ( 2014 – 2019)

Additionally, from 2020 -2023, he served as a special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Imo State , his Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma.
Furthermore, because of his cognate experience, expertise and proactiveness, he was graciously appointed appointed by the Governor as Commissioner and Chairman/CEO, Imo Electricity Regulatory Commission.
Apostle Samuel Nwaire’s involvement in the Christian Life Gospel Assembly dates back to its inception of the group in 1992. he and his family were among the pioneer members of the Ministry at 10, Alabe Street Isolo, Lagos and metamorphosed into a church.
