Oyedele to Attend FiBOP 2026 Conference as Keynote Speaker.

The Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Taiwo Oyedele, has accepted an invitation to attend the 2026 Annual Conference and Awards of the Finance and Business Online Publishers Association (FiBOP) as keynote Speaker.

The two-day event is scheduled for October 17 and 18, 2026, at Orchids Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.

This year’s conference is themed: “Unlocking Nigeria’s Economic Potential: Taxation, Industry, Insurance, Fintech, Trade and Investment as Catalysts for Nigeria’s $1 Trillion Vision.”

It will convene policymakers, regulators, business leaders, investors and journalists to explore pathways to Nigeria’s $1 trillion economy ambition.

Oyedele’s participation is expected to enrich policy dialogue around fiscal reforms, revenue generation and private sector-led growth.

Other dignitaries expected are Dr Muda Yusuf, CEO, Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise (CPPE), who will chair the conference; Alhaji (Dr) Umaru Kwairanga, Chairman, Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX Group), as Special Guest; and Mrs Bola Odukale, Director-General/CEO, Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA), as Guest Speaker.

The conference will feature panels on taxation, industry, insurance, fintech, trade and investment, and will also honour individuals and organisations contributing to the growth of Nigeria’s financial services sector and economic reporting.
